[B] Inspired Photography by Julie Boysen

I loved being able to be a part of Katie and Justin's love story. I've known Katie since she was a cute little brown-eyed girl. It was amazing to be able to photograph her now that she is a gorgeous brown-eyed lady. It may be redundant to continually say how much fun I have at each session, and how that one is my "favorite" but it is true. Each session is as different as the love story behind it, but like a love story, each one is incredible and special. I am looking forward to more photography fun with Katie and Justin in just a few months. Love ya guys!

Congratulations!

Today I had the chance to photograph such a gorgeous couple in the most perfect weather and sunlight you could imagine. I know I say this about every photoshoot (maybe I have ADD) but engaged couples are my favorite. Check it out for yourself!

Amy was one of the first people I met when my husband and I started attending our church. I am so thankful for her friendship and was honored to hang out with their cute little family. Aren't they beautiful together?

Wow, time is flying! Can anyone else believe that it is almost November?

I know I say this repeatedly, but fall is my absolute favorite. I love the weather, food, holidays, decorations, colors, symbolism and traditions. I also adore photographing in the fall. There is something about the brown fields that not only signifies the harvest and God's abundant provision, but the neutral brown just look great in pictures.

This cute little family is one of my neighbors and Tucker adores going to their property to play. Kids love being on the farm, don't they? As their mommy and I talked about pictures, we decided to just photograph them on their property and let them relax in their own environment. It turned out great! They were happy to give me a "tour" of the farm as I happily snapped away pictures and they showed me some great locations along the way for backgrounds. Helps when you have such cute subjects, don't you think?

When Ilene first contacted me about taking her wedding pictures, I'm not gonna lie; I felt old. Really old. In my memory, Ilene was still that adorable little girl that I taught in VBS and children's church, not that absolutely gorgeous bride that I was seeing before me!

I feel so blessed that I was able to be a part of Brandon and Ilene's special day. Ilene was the type of bride that still throughout the day was taking care of everyone else in such a selfless way. Her sweet spirit made her even more beautiful.

I wish many blessings for them as they begin their lives together.

Little Miss Sunshine was so easy and fun to photograph. Her smile and laughter is so contagious I think I smiled the whole time I was editing!

This little princess is such a miracle! She was a micro-preemie, but fought her way to the top. I am so thankful for such amazing little fighters. Isn't she beautiful?

I must warn... this little one is so adorable that it just might cause a bad case of baby fever! Little Miss L was so super-duper to work with! She snuggled, posed and just in general looked adorable. I think my favorite though are the mommy-daughter pictures. There is something so beautiful about a mommy's love and the interaction between the two. Check it out for yourself below!

He makes her laugh. A lot.
She takes care of him.

It works.

When Jen & I first started talking about me taking her wedding pictures, she actually hadn't even met Steve yet. Talk about someone really believing in your work! I was so blessed to be there and share with Jen and Steve as they promised each other to love, respect, honor, and protect each other for the rest of their lives.

I couldn't help but smile as I edited this little man's pictures. His smile is so contagious! If you are looking to add a grin to your face today, scroll on down.

There are some moments as a mommy that looking back I realize how quickly they have faded into just a memory. My "baby" is 4 1/2. The days of slobbery kisses are long gone, but oh how I loved them. When you are living it day in and day out, you don't realize what a "vapor" little moments like these are and what you would give for one more moment once they are gone. Savor my friends. Savor.

It's not every day that you get to snuggle and enjoy a little piece of Heaven, but I'm one of the lucky ones. Isn't she sweet! She was so sleepy that we were able play a bit. Here is a little sneak peek.

I feel like this is a milestone worth celebrating... my first clients in the new studio! Even typing this I can hardly believe that it is true and am so thankful for the amazing opportunity to follow my dream.

Here is a little sampling of some of the amazing families I had a chance to photograph this month.

Knowing Heidi is like knowing a little piece of sunshine. She is the kind of person that just seeing her can cheer you up on a gloomy day.

Today I had the opportunity to meet and photograph her beautiful family. I loved how they interacted with each other and just relaxed, let loose and had some fun.

I can hardly believe it myself, but I am following my dreams and now have studio space for my photography! I never imagined that having a studio would be on the agenda for 2012, but I am so thankful for surprise opportunities.

Here is a little sampling of the studio space with my favorite little subject.

I of course would LOVE to photograph you and your family and would greatly appreciate your referrals. Please "like" me on facebook (I'll love ya for it!)

I will be offering a few mini sessions for Valentines day (pictures taken in January) so let me know if you are interested and I will get you on the schedule right away.

Thank you all for your support.

Sincerely, Julie

About Me

about me

Hi! I’m Julie Boysen (the B behind [B] Inspired!) While I joke that my full time boss is my sweet baby and my energetic son, photography is the way I choose to fill the rest of my time.

Creating beautiful images is my escape, creative passion and the excuse to satisfy my naturally nerd-y/geek tendancies.

I am a Nebraska girl and love the wide open spaces of our tiny hometown, but I also love the conveniences of the city (Oh, Hello Starbucks!). I fall prey to the hypnotic effects of Target, (”I only need 1 thing... how did all of this end up in my cart????”) and I frequently spend the time that I should be doing my laundry on dreaming about my next vacation/stay-cation.

Anthony (the original [B]) is the love of my life and adventure partner. He has faithfully supported me and loved me through thick and thin for 15+ years now. We are big fans of marriage and I am a much better person because of him.

Thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your most precious treasures in life- your family! I love being a part of your celebrations, monumental moments, as well as documenting the sweetness of everyday life that when you’ll miss the most. Without you, living my dream would not be possible.
